UEC's recent TEFL course graduate and SUNY Master degree program enrollee Steve has started volunteer teaching English three days per week to train a group of specifically selected individuals at the Fatima Center, run by the Good Shepherd Sisters. Steve, who used to own and run a multi million dollar company in the US, was looking for an opportunity to serve when he came across our UEC TEFL course and was introduced to Sister Louise, who has been providing a home, training and livelihoods for less fortunate women and children in Bangkok's Dindaeng slum area. We are proud to work with Steve and the Good Shepherd Sisters and to be part of this endeavor. On that wonderful note, we wish all our graduates and readers a blessed, healthy and successful 2012!

This camp does not only provide the children with much appreciated entertainment with an educational flavor, but also enables our UEC TEFL graduates to learn about coordinating and putting on a successful English camp.
